Familiars is a pen-and-paper role playing game by Ganesha Games. Participants play the role of familiars, magical spirits in animal bodies. Familiars are more than animals -- they have supernatural powers and human intelligence, and can converse with animals and spirits. Set in a quasi-medieval world where magic is illegal and familiars are magic-users' trusted spies, gophers and troubleshooters, Familiars lets you play a raven with psychometric powers, a cat that can walk through walls, a dove that can turn invisible or even a hard-kicking rabbit... or nearly any "little critter" you can imagine.
